    Why should I update my counterfeit detector?
    Central banks are constantly revising their banknotes to incorporate the newest security features and make it even harder for counterfeiters to succeed. Safescan’s dedicated currency management team makes sure your device keeps pace with these changes by updating the device’s software.

    How do I update my Safescan device?
    To update your Safescan product when new banknotes are released, visit the product details page for the device on In the Downloads section, you will find not only the latest software update for your device, but also manuals, product sheets and brochures. You can also visit the global downloads page on our website here .

    Each update kit contains detailed instructions. If you can’t find the information you need, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department for help.

    Where can I find my product manual?
    Your product manual is enclosed in the product package. If you no longer have your manual, you may be able to download one: visit the product details page for the device on and click on the Downloads section, where you will find all the downloadable content related to your device, such as software updates, product sheets and brochures. If you can’t find the information you need, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department for help.

    What does shipping cost?
    We work hard to keep our shipping rates as low as possible, without surcharges for delivery to remote areas. To ensure the fast, accurate delivery of your order, we use the reliable services of FedEx.

    When will I receive my order?
    If we receive payment for your order before 3:00 p.m. MST, we will process your order on that same day. Provided that all items are in stock, you should receive your order in 1-5 business days. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. MST or on weekends and holidays will be processed the following business day. These shipping times are estimates only.

    As soon as our warehouse has shipped your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail that includes a unique FedEx tracking number. To track your package’s status in real time, visit and enter your tracking number into the “Track a Shipment” box at the center of the page. FedEx delivers during normal business hours from Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

    The average delivery time is 1–5 business days, , dependent upon where the order was placed. Please note that all delivery times are estimates only.

    Where can I check the status of my order?
    There are two ways to track the status of your order:
    1. Log in to your Safescan account and click on “My order history”.
    2. Use the tracking number we send you by e-mail once your order has shipped to follow the progress of your shipment.
