Safescan 2485-SC - Counting Modes 

Count your banknotes however you like! The Safescan 2485-SC has different counting modes that you can choose from. Simply choose the one that works best for you.

Click on the active mode on the bottom left corner of the screen or press the MODE button to open the count menu. Then simply select the desired counting mode to get started.

Mix - Default

When you select this counting mode the device will count unsorted banknotes from the same currency. Your device will stop counting whenever it encounters banknotes that are from a different currency (or are suspected to be counterfeit).

Don't want to manually switch between currencies? Activate the automatic currency recognition feature by selecting *CUR*.

Sort

When you select this counting mode the device will count banknotes from one single denomination. Your device will stop counting whenever it encounters banknotes that are from a different denomination (or are suspected to be counterfeit).

Count

When you select this counting mode, the device will only count the number of banknotes. It will not calculate their value as it will not check their currency or denomination. If you activate the counterfeit detection feature it will check them.
