Waranty and defects
Warranty period
All Safescan products have a 12 month guarantee period.
Dead on arrival
Is the device not functioning within 8 days after receiving it? The device will be replaced free of charge, contact the Safescan helpdesk.
Charges
• Repair or replacement within the guarantee period is free of charge (if it concerns a manufacturing fault). The forwarding charges are shared (you pay the charges for shipment to Safescan and Safescan pays the charges for the return)
• The charges are on your own account, if the repair or the replacement is made beyond the guarantee period or if it concerns repair due to damage.
Step plan warranty and deficiencies
1. Contact the Safescan helpdesk for assistance
2. You receive an RMA number in case of a deficiency
3. Return the device to Safescan as described above, together with a copy of the invoice and the RMA number stated on it.
